ALARMS
In the event of an anomaly or the unit is blocked due to a safety device being triggered, the red LED beneath the ALARM key
lights up.
Press the ALARM key once to access the list of active alarms, then use the UP and DOWN keys to scroll the list. Each alarm is
identified by a code and a brief description; the complete list is found in the software manual.
Press the ALARM key again to reset the alarms, provided the cause that triggered them has been resolved.
If the specific function is enabled, all the alarms besides the high and low pressure alarms are automatically reset after a pre-
set time interval.
Information that at least one alarm is active can be communicated externally via a potential-free contact in wired exchange
on terminals X3:31-32-33 (see Wiring diagram), or if a supervision systems is available, the status of each alarm can be read
together with that of the main alarm, the alarms can be reset and a datalogger can be set up (pCOWeb).
The information regarding triggered alarms on terminals 31-32-33 can be used to:
- remote control the alert (e.g. via a warning light);
- activate an auxiliary backup device for DHW production (e.g. an electric resistance in the tank controlled by a mechanical
thermostat).
