3. If the device is moved from a very cold environment to a warm one, allow it to warm
up at room temperature for at least 2 hours before you switch it on. Condensation
might form inside the device.
Assembly: manual unit – standing unit
WARNING:
Do not use the device near a bathtub, shower or any con-
tainer holding water.
Manual unit
1. Place the protective cover in the opening at the rear of the
hairdryer and tighten it by turning in a clockwise direction.
2. Take the handle and push it onto the hairdryer over the
air outlet opening, until you can hear the handle click into
place.
• In order to remove the handle, you slide the release button
on the handle downwards and remove the handle at the
same time.
3. Plug the hair-styling nozzle onto the air outlet opening. It
must engage properly.
• To remove the nozzle simply pull it off.
4. Now you can use the device like a conventional hairdryer
once more (see the “Operation” chapter).
Standing unit
1. Remove the hair styling nozzle from the device.
2. Remove the handle: Slide the button on the handle downwards and remove the han-
dle at the same time.
3. Turn the protective cap at the rear of the hairdryer in an anticlockwise direction and
remove it. The opening is now clear.
4. Place the base on a table or some other horizontal, level and dry surface, pressing
downwards lightly so that the suction feet are attached
fi
rmly to the surface. The base
is not suitable for mounting on walls or slanted surfaces.
5. Place the rear section of the hairdryer on the base.
6. Plug the angled nozzle onto the air outlet opening. It must
engage properly.
• To remove the nozzle simply pull it off.
7. The angled nozzle has a joint which enables you to adjust
the angle of inclination.
8. You can now dry your hair with the device and have both
hands free for styling purposes. Follow the instructions in
the Chapter: "Operation".
