NSTALLING THE
LCD
SCREEN
When installed, the LCD screen is located in the front top of the UPS (see Figure 60).
To protect the LCD screen from damage, it does not arrive installed.

Installing the LCD screen consists of attaching the screen-holder to a mounting post and attaching the
screen to the screen-holder. The mounting post is located in a recess in the top front of the UPS.

The screen holder attaches to the mounting post by way of its bottom portion, which forms a clamp.
The clamp consists of two pieces, one on each side of the screen holder.

One side of the clamp has a long bolt projecting from it. This bolt should be inserted through the
middle part of the screen holder and through the other side piece.

A thumb screw fastens on to the end of the bolt, and should be tightened so that the screen holder is
firmly attached to the mounting post.
4.
After the screen holder has been firmly attached to the mounting post, slide the rear projection of the
LCD screen into the center of the screen holder and snap it into place.
5.
Press the screen's "power" button to power-on the screen.
