Selection and Maintenance of Rechargeable
Batteries/Dry Batteries
If the player will only work for a short time after the chargeable batte-
ries are fully recharged, it indicates that the batteries have come to
their lives. You shall replace them with the recommended batteries.
After the first charge-up or recharging the batteries when this player
has not been used for a long time, the play time may be shorter than
usual.
In this case, please recharge and discharge repeatedly to resume to the
normal state.
Maintenance
In order to avoid battery damage, leakage of electrolyte and short circuit,
please observe the following points:
Do not peel off the outer shell of the batteries and do not use those
whose outer shells peeled off.
Make sure the polarities of batteries are correct upon loading the bat-
teries
Do not use the new and old batteries or batteries with different models
at the same time
Get out of the batteries if this unit will not used for a long time.
Do not throw the abandoned batteries into a fire and do not expose
them under high temperature. Otherwise, it may cause shirt circuit or
disaggregation.
Do not get the metal objects in contact with the terminals of batteries.
Otherwise it may cause short circuit, which is very dangerous.
Upon handling batteries, make sure not to keep them together with
the metal objects in the pocket or portfolio.
Otherwise, it may cause short circuit and cause fire.
For your safety, please insert the batteries into the portable box for por-
tage.
