S A F E T Y
ONE + has undergone the strictest controls and fully complies
with international safety standards. Carefully read the precau-
tions reported on this page, and to avoid damage and dangers
due to use that does not meet the regulations, always strictly
abide by them when using the ONE + hair straightener. If the
product is subsequently given to other people, also deliver the
instructions manual.
Important information
Before activating the device, ascertain that the voltage is identi-
cal to the one stated on the device’s technical data tag. Never
use the device in the bathroom, in the bathtub or in the shower,
near a sink or in proximity to water; never touch it with wet
hands. Never use the device inside environments rich in hu-
midity. The device must not be immersed in water; also do not
use water for cleaning. After using the straightener, always ex-
tract the plug from the electrical power outlet, being careful not
to pull the cord. Do not use the device if the cord or other parts
are damaged. In case of damage to the power cord, this will
have to be returned exclusively to an authorised Assistance
Centre. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without super-
vision. Further protection is given by the integration of a fault
current protection in the domestic electrical circuit, with a nom-
inal switching voltage no higher than 30mA. We advice to con-
sult a trusted electrician. The safety of the electrical devices is
in compliance to the recognised rules of the technique and to
the device safety laws. To guarantee optimal and safe use, in
case of falls or violent impacts, carry out a check at an author-
ised technical Assistance Centre. Use hairstyling products and
spray away from the straightener. Never spray directly on the
straightener.
Warnings
This straightener is destined exclusively for the use of styling
real hair and must only be used for this purpose: do not use the
device to style wigs or animal fur, do not dry objects with the
heating component. Burning danger warning: do not touch the
plates during use or when hot. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision. Never leave tissues, cloths,
plastic material or heat sensitive surfaces on or under the de-
vice. Never hang it by its cord. Check that the power cord never
comes into contact with the plates to avoid risk of electrocution.
Never use the straightener if damaged. If the plate, the power
cord or the plug seem damaged, consult an electrician, an au-
thorised distributor or a Gamma Più Assistance Centre.
F U N C T I O N
Cutting edge technology and evolved functions make the ONE
+ hair straightener an innovative and extremely easy to use
instrument.
1. Important: this device has been designed for use with a volt-
age of 110-125V or 220-240 V. Check the correct voltage on
the straightener technical data label. Do not use with other
voltages.
2. The straightener can be set to 3 temperature selections:
170°C, 190°C and 210°C.
3. To turn on the straightener, activate the switch to ON posi-
tion: the blue coloured LED will begin to flash and an acous-
tic signal will sound.
Select the desired temperature by pressing the round cursor
in proximity to the coloured LED.
Blue led = 170°C
Pink led = 190°C
Red led= 210°C
When the selected LED will stop flashing this will mean that the
straightener has reached the set temperature and is ready for
use.
4. To turn off the straightener, place the switch into OFF posi-
tion: the coloured LED will switch off. Remove the plug and
let the straightener cool in a safe place, or on heat resistant
surfaces, before putting it away.
5. To turn the straightener back on, use the appropriate ON-
OFF switch.
6. Always turn off the ONE + hair straightener and disconnect it
from the electrical power when not in use.
Standby Mode
If ONE + is not used for 20 minutes, standby mode automati-
cally activates. This means that, while still connected to the
electrical power, it turns off automatically. To restart ONE + sim-
ply use the main ON-OFF switch and select the desired tem-
perature.
C O N S E R V A T I O N
The purchased ONE + hair straightener is a resistant and
cutting-edge product that, with a few expedients and constant
maintenance, will last long and will function in a perfectly safe
and reliable way. Here are the simple precautions to follow:
