Replacing batteries
If the segments of the battery symbol light up
yellow, the batteries or the rechargeable batteries in
the torque and angle wrench are no longer full.
However, you may continue working.
When the remaining segments of the battery
symbol light up red, the batteries or the
rechargeable batteries in the torque and angle
wrench are almost spent.
If the red battery symbol segments are ignored,
the torque and angle wrench switches off after
a short while.
Fastener data stored in the torque and angle
wrench are retained in the event of battery
replacement.
If no rechargeable batteries or batteries are
contained in the torque and angle wrench for
longer than 5 minutes, the time has to be
synchronised with the PC using the installed
software following battery replacement.
Make new batteries or charged rechargeable
batteries ready.
Exchange the rechargeable batteries for charged
ones or insert new batteries as described on
page 20.
Cleaning the torque and
angle wrench
ATTENTION
Material damage possible due to
incorrect cleaning.
Clean the torque and angle wrench
using a dry, clean cloth only.
Repair, maintenance and
calibration
Apart from regular calibration, the torque and angle
wrench is maintenance-free.
The internal components of the torque and angle
wrench are subject to normal wear during use. The
accuracy of the display values therefore has to be
checked at regular intervals.
