To move Stair-Trac on flat surfaces, push
down on the Support Handle until the
tracks are raised from the surface, then
push Stair-Trac along on its Auxiliary
Wheels.
EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON
In the unlikely event that the motor does
not stop after the Operating Switch has
been released, power to the motor can be
disconnected by pressing and holding the
Emergency Stop Button.
If it is necessary to use the Emergency Stop Button, ensure that Stair-Trac is
examined by a qualified service person before it is used again.
ASCENDING STAIRS
Practice ascending stairs without a passenger until you feel confident of your
ability to use Stair-Trac. Practice ascending before you practice descending.
Note: Stair-Trac must travel “backward” when ascending stairs (Refer to
Terminology on page 4).
