INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIFTING THE MACHINE

BEFORE LIFTING AND HANDLING THE MACHINE, AUTHORISED OPERATORS MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS. MAKE SURE THAT, DURING OPERATIONS, THERE ARE NO PEOPLE,
ANIMALS AND/OR OBJECTS IN THE WORK AREA THAT MAY SUFFER HARM OR DAMAGE. ALL OPERATIONS
MUST BE PERFORMED WITH GREAT CARE, TAKING CARE TO AVOID SUDDEN MANOEUVRES, ACCELERATIONS
OR KNOCKS.
AUTHORISED LIFTING OPERATOR
This person is aged 18 or over, is professionally trained according to legislation in force in the country of use,
and is authorised to drive forklift trucks, bridge cranes or cranes in order to safely lift and transport the
machine or equipment using the hand signals indicated in European Directive 92/58/EEC (see para 10.2),
wearing the personal protective equipment indicated in para 6.4 and occupying the positions described in
para 7.1.
BRIDGE CRANE OR CRANE (suitable for the purpose and capacity)
1)
Attach the ropes, chains or cables to the lifting points provided by the manufacturer;
2)
Make sure that the ropes, chains or cables do not knock against and damage the machine components;
3)
Carefully lift and move the machine to its work position;
4)
Lower the machine until its rests on the ground;
5)
Remove the ropes, chains or cables.
MOVING THE MACHINE
Strictly follow the “Use and maintenance instructions” (Chap. 4).
THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY HARM TO PEOPLE OR ANIMALS OR DAMAGE TO
PROPERTY DERIVING FROM FAILURE TO OBSERVE THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE FOLLOWING
SHEET AND IN THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.
