8. Maintenance
1.
Remove grass from under the deck with brush (39).
2.
Using a soft brush - remove grass clippings from all air intakes (40), the discharge chute (41) and the
grass box (42).
3.
Using a soft brush, remove grass clippings from the vision window (43).
4.
Wipe over the surface of your lawnmower with a dry cloth.
7. Storage
1.
Remove the battery and safety key (see 5. Initial Operation)
2.
Clean the product (see 9. Maintenance)
3.
Charge the battery and store it separately (see 5. Initial Operation)
4.
Loosen the Cam Locks to enable the handles to be folded over the product (38).
5.
Store the product in a dry place protected from frost. Do not store outdoors. Keep out of direct sunlight.
The product must not be added to normal household waste. It must be disposed of in line with
local environmental regulations.
Important : Make sure that the unit is disposed of via your municipal recycling collection centre.
The GARDENA Battery Mower contains lithium-ion batteries that should not be discarded with
normal household waste at the end of their life.
1. Discharge lithium-ion cells completely.
2. Dispose of lithium-ion cells properly.
The product must be stored out of reach of children.

Important :
Please return the lithium-ion batteries to your GARDENA dealer or dispose of them properly at a public recy-
cling centre.

IMPORTANT:- It is very important that you keep your lawnmower clean. Grass clippings left in any of the air
intakes or under the deck could become a potential fire hazard.
Cleaning
Important :
Unplug the safety key and remove battery.
IMPORTANT:- Never use water for cleaning your lawnmower. Do not clean with chemicals, including petrol, or
solvents - some can destroy critical plastic parts.
