4. Operation
Do not trap the connecting cable when opening the handle.
1. Open the handle and screw it firmly in place with the clamping
handle

2. Open the upper handle

and screw it firmly in place with the
wing nuts

You can adjust the handle height to your own body height using
the clamping handle

This prevents inadvertent disconnection of the plug and socket
connection.
3. Insert extension cable

into a mains socket.
Danger of injury if the Aerator does not switch off auto-
matically !

Do not remove or bridge safety devices fitted to the
Aerator (e.g. by tying the starting lever to the upper
handle) !
Danger ! The Aerator does not stop immediately after

the motor has been switched off :

Never lift, tip or carry the Aerator with the motor
running !

Never start on solid ground (e.g. asphalt).

Always maintain the safety distance between the
aerator cylinder and the user as defined by the
guide handle.
1. Prior to aeration, check the wear adjustment
(see 6. Maintenance).
2. Place the Aerator on a flat grass surface.
3. Place the Aerator lever

side and backwards and place it in Aerating
position

The Aerator cylinder is lowered onto the
ground.
4. Press and hold the safety interlock

pull the starter lever

The Aerator starts.

When in operation, the extension cable

must always be
guided in the direction you are working and to the side of
the area to be worked on. Always work away from the con-
nection cable.
