Push the blade guard

Engage battery on the handle :

Press the battery

Release battery from handle :

Cutting injuries can be caused if the hedge trimmer
does not switch off automatically.

Never bypass safety devices (e. g. by tying up a
start button).
The hedge trimmer is fitted with a 2-handed safety switch to
prevent it being switched on accidentally.
1. Hold the guide handle with one hand

and press one of the
start buttons

at the same time.
2. Hold the main handle

with the other hand and press the
start button

. The hedge trimmer will start.
If one of the start buttons is released, the blade will stop within
one second.
5. Preparation for Storage
1. Push blade guard

on to the blade.
2. Store the hedge trimmer in a dry, frost-free location, out of the
reach of children.
