10 Handling and storage

Clean the device as described. It is recommended that the product be stored in
its original packaging.
•
Always store the product in a dry and well-ventilated room, beyond children’s
reach.
•
Protect the product against vibration and shock during transport.

Unscrew the shredder grid protection knob and tilt the grid away.

Carefully remove the jamming debris.
3 .
Make sure the rotor rotates freely and is undamaged.
4 .
Close the shredder grid and tighten the protection knob. You must not
use the device if the protection grid is not closed properly.
Warning! Risk of bodily injury of damage to the product! Never use the device
if the shredder grid is not correctly installed to prevent direct contact with the
rotating parts.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorized service center, or qualified personnel, so as to avoid hazards.
Caution! Do not use any chemical, alkaline, abrasive, or disinfecting substances
for cleaning as they can damage the plastic parts.
Always check the pipe flow capacity prior to and after work. If necessary,
remove the residue soil and leaves or other items remaining in the pipe using a
thin broom stick (not included).
