Allow it to cool down before cleaning, maintaining or storing the device
immediately after it has finished working.
Cleaning may only be carried out when the unit is switched off, has cooled down
and the mains plug is disconnected from the mains socket.
Do not immerse the device in any kind of liquid.
Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device.
The device may only be cleaned with a dry cloth or paper towel. In the case of heavy
soiling of the body it is permissible to use a cloth slightly moistened with lukewarm
water and heavily wrung from its excess. Afterwards, wipe the cleaned area
immediately with a dry cloth or paper towel and leave the device to dry.
10. SOLVING PROBLEMS
In case of problems with the device, please refer to the following tips.
I cannot switch the
device on
Check the correct connection to the power supply.
Check the plug or power cord for damage.
Check whether the electrical outlet is damaged - select
another one.
Check that the cutting unit is not blocked.
Defective activating lever or safety lock. Contact the service
department.
Damaged engine or used carbon brushes. Contact the service
department.
The engine makes
noise but the
cutting unit does
not operate
A voltage drop in the mains or a defective power
cord/extension cable.
The engine toothed belt is damaged. Contact the service
department.
Engine performance
has decreased
The soil may be too hard, reduce the working depth.
Check that the inside of the case is not clogged.
The roller might be worn out, replace it with a new one.
The outcome of
work is unsatisfying.
The roller might be worn out, replace it with a new one.
The depth is incorrect. Adjust it accordingly.
The grass is too high. Mow the grass.
The engine toothed belt is damaged. Contact the service
department.
Unusual vibrations,
noises, tapping
Incorrect installation of the roller. Check the installation of the
roller.
