MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
SERVICE CHECK LIST
–
Air Filter and Pre-Filter
- Operating conditions determine frequency of service. See
“Air Filter,”
SECTION 7, page 65.
Motor Lubrication
- Refer to Section 2, page 13
Every 8 Hours Operation
1.
Check the reservoir oil level - add oil if required. See Section 11, page 79.
2.
Observe if the unit loads and unloads properly.
3.
Check discharge pressure and temperature.
4.
Check control panel display for advisory text messages.
Every 125 Hours Operation
1.
Check for dirt accumulation on oil, air core finned faces and the cooling fan. If cleaning is required,
clean the exterior fin surfaces of the cores by blowing compressed air carrying a nonflammable
safety solvent in a direction opposite that of the cooling fan air flow. This cleaning operation will
keep the exterior cooling surfaces clean and ensure effective heat dissipation.
Every 1000 Hours Operation
1.
Change oil filter element.
Every 4000 Hours Operation
1.
Change the compressor lubricant. Under adverse conditions,
change more frequently

Every Year
1.
Check the pressure relief valve for proper operation.
See Section 9, page 70

Change oil separator, see
“Removal of Oil Separator for Inspection or Replacement”, Section 5,
page 53 for further details (or when 8 psid pressure differential across the element).

If the [optional] compressed air dryer is included in your unit, refer to Sec 10, Page 77, for required
maintenance information.
