STARTING THE ENGINE
Starting a cold engine
a) Move on/off switch to the on position.
b) Move the air handle to the closed
position.
c) Press the engine pump a few times until
you see a fuel current in the overflow
pipe.
d) Press the security bottom, then press the accelerator trigger,
press the accelerator, and while pressing it, release the
accelerator trigger. Follow the steps as shown in the picture.
e) Pull slightly the starting rope until you feel resistance, and then
pull with energy until the engine starts up.
f) Move the air handle to the open position. (Normal work
position)
g) Leave the engine running during a few seconds while holding
the brushcutter. Then loosen the accelerator so the engine is at
idle speed.
WARNING:
When the accelerator is activated, the cutting unit will spin.
Starting a warm engine
a) Move the engine switch to the on position.
b) Move the air handle to the open position. (Normal work
position).
c) Pull the starting rope. If it does not start, follow the
starting a cold engine steps.
