Setting the Timers
You can set various timers using the Timers
page. To open the Timers page, press
MENU
twice, select
Timers
from the Main Menu,
and press
ENTER
.
User
—provides a user timer. Set the timer to
Count
Up
or
Count Down
. You can also
Reset
the timer and
turn it
Off
. To the right of this field, enter a time to
use when counting up or down.
Battery
—allows you to turn on or off the battery use-
ful life timer, and reset the timer when new batteries
are installed.
Marine
—displayed on the Com-
pass page. See page 55 for infor-
mation about setting the marine
timer.
Since Midnight
—the time the
unit has been turned on since
midnight. This will reset if you
restore all of the unit’s settings to
the defaults. See page 81.
Setting Your Alarm Clock
Another feature of your 76CS Plus is that you
can set it as a alarm clock. When the alarm
goes off, a tone sounds and a message appears
on the screen. If your unit is off, it will auto-
matically turn on when the alarm goes off.
To set your alarm clock;
1. Press
MENU
twice to open the Main Menu.
2. Highlight
Alarm Clock
and press
ENTER
.
3. Press
ENTER
to set the time using the Rocker
key. When you have entered the proper time,
press
ENTER
.
4. Highlight
Alarm Mode
and press
ENTER
. Select
On
and press
ENTER
.
5. Highlight
Alarm Beep
and press
ENTER
to
select a new tone.
Highlight
Snooze
and press
ENTER
to snooze the alarm for
seven minutes.
