To change the display range on the Navigation Map Page, turn the
Joystick
clockwise to increase the map
range or counter-clockwise to decrease the map range.
SELECTING THE STORMSCOPE PAGE
Lightning data can be displayed at the ranges of 25 nm, 50 nm, 100 nm, and 200 nm on the Stormscope
Page.
Adjusting the Stormscope Map Range:
1)
Turn the large
FMS
Knob to select the Map Page Group.
2)
Turn the small
FMS
Knob to select the Stormscope Page (Figure 6-122).
3)
To change the map range, turn the
Joystick
clockwise to increase the map range, or counter-clockwise to
decrease the map range.

Changing between ‘cell’ and ‘strike’ mode on the Stormscope Page:
1)
Select the Stormscope Page.
2)
Press the
MODE
Softkey. The
CELL
and
STRIKE
softkeys are displayed.
3)
Press the
CELL
Softkey to display ‘CELL’ data or press the
STRIKE
Softkey to display ‘STRIKE’ data. ‘CELL’ or
‘STRIKE’ is displayed in the mode box in the upper left corner of the Stormscope Page.
4)
Press the
BACK
Softkey to return to the main Stormscope page.
