TAWS Configuration

Insert the TAWS Enable card (010-00330-51) into the top card slot of the PFD.

While holding the ENT key on PFD, apply power by closing the PFD circuit breaker.

When the words

appear in the upper left corner of the PFD, release the

ENT key.

Turn the MFD on in the same manner.

On the PFD go to the CONFIGURATION UPLOAD page using the FMS knob.

Activate the cursor and highlight the Enable TAWS file in the FILE field.

Press the ENT key.

Highlight AIRFRAME in the SECTION field.

Press the LOAD softkey.

Select YES and press the ENT key to acknowledge the following prompt:

Monitor the status of the upload. When the upload is finished, press the ENT key to acknowledge the
following confirmation:
