Insert the base software loader card in the R PFD top SD card slot.
(6)
Set the R PFD to the configuration mode as follows:
(a)
Push and hold the right most softkey (No.12) and engage the R PFD circuit breaker.
(b)
When the R PFD initializes and shows the 'INITIALIZING SYSTEM' message, release the
softkey.
NOTE:
The CREW PROFILE CLEARED message may appear.

When prompted 'DO YOU WANT TO UPDATE SYSTEM FILES', push the NO softkey.
(8)
When prompted 'UPDATE CUSTOM GRAPHIC FILES', push the YES softkey to load the graphic
files.
(9)
When the GRAPHIC FILES load is complete the 'NEW SOFTWARE HAS BEEN LOADED
RESTARTING UNIT' message is shown.
NOTE:
The right most softkey (No.12) must be held during the restart if loading a software
version prior to 3.2.
(10) Make sure that the SYSTEM STATUS page is shown on the R PFD.
(a)
This indicates the graphic files load to the R PFD is complete.
(11) Remove the software loader card from the R PFD.
(12) Insert the base software loader card in the MFD top SD card slot.
(13) Set the MFD to the configuration mode as follows:
(a)
Push and hold the right most softkey (No.12) and engage the MFD circuit breaker.
(b)
When the MFD initializes and shows the 'INITIALIZING SYSTEM' message, release the
softkey.
(14) When prompted 'DO YOU WANT TO UPDATE SYSTEM FILES', push the NO softkey.
(15) When prompted 'UPDATE CUSTOM GRAPHIC FILES', push the YES softkey to load the graphic
files.
(16) When the GRAPHIC FILES load is complete the 'NEW SOFTWARE HAS BEEN LOADED
RESTARTING UNIT' message is shown.
NOTE:

(17) Make sure that the SYSTEM STATUS page is shown on the MFD.

(19) Insert the base software loader card in the L PFD top SD card slot.
(20) Set the L PFD to the configuration mode as follows:
(a)
Push and hold the right most softkey (No.12) and engage the L PFD circuit breaker.
(b)
When the L PFD initializes and shows the 'INITIALIZING SYSTEM' message, release the
softkey.
(21) When prompted 'DO YOU WANT TO UPDATE SYSTEM FILES', push the NO softkey.
(22) When prompted 'UPDATE CUSTOM GRAPHIC FILES', push the YES softkey to load the graphic
files.
(23) When the GRAPHIC FILES load is complete the 'NEW SOFTWARE HAS BEEN LOADED
RESTARTING UNIT' message is shown.

Do the Update the CMC Diagnostic Configuration and/or the CDMS Software Version procedure.
