Split screen mode: 

 

The G3X system supports a split screen mode a well as selection of several 

different pages including map, terrain or flight plan information.  

 

 

 

  CAUTION 

Displaying  engine information in full screen mode on the RMFD is 

mandatory! 

 

Indication of ADAHRS data is recommended for the LMFD.  To toggle 

between split and full screen: 

 

Press Split or Full in the upper L/H or R/H corner of the Display 

 

Powering on: 

 

LMFD / RMFD: 

 

set main system master switch ON 

 

set PFD switch ON 

 

set MFD switch ON 

 

set engine system master switch ON 

 

Push nose cone handle to OPEN and LOCKED position 

 

 

NOTICE 

During system initialization, the AHRS displays the message ‘AHRS ALIGN, 

KEEP WINGS LEVEL’ over the attitude indicator. The AHRS should display 

valid attitude and heading fields typically within the first minute of 

power-up. The AHRS can align itself both while taxiing and during level 

flight. 

 

 

The  GPS module  and the ADAHRS  are powered when the main system 

master switch is turned ON. 

The autopilot servos are powered when the LMFD is turned ON. 

The engine indication system is powered when the engine master switch is 

ON and the nose cone is open and locked.
