NON-SAFE RANGE INDICATIONS & ALERTING
To attract attention, engine gauge
display markings (bands, radials,
limitations) change appearance when a
parameter is within a caution or
warning alert band. These non-safe
range indications remain active while
the gauge is within the alerted range.
Alert Suppression
To avoid nuisance alerts while the
parameters are in typical ranges
for the engine state, flashing is
suppressed for fuel pressure, oil
pressure, and oil temp when the
engine is off or starting.
