Stormscope data may be displayed in 360° View or Arc View. Additionally, two modes are
available for display:
– Cell Mode identifies cluster of electrical activity, grouping individual strikes together
– Strike Mode displays the relative location of each discharge strike; the 'Rate' displays the
approximate number of strikes per minute for a given range

Selecting the Stormscope view:
1)
From the 'Lightning' Page, open the page menu and select
Lightning Opts
.
2)
Select the
View
Button to toggle between 360
°
and Arc.
Selecting the Stormscope mode:

From the 'Lightning' Page, open the page menu and select
Lightning Opts
.

Select the
Mode
Button to toggle between Cell and Strike.
If heading input is lost, strikes and/or cells must be cleared manually after the execution of
each turn. This is to ensure the strike and/or cell positions are depicted accurately in relation
to the nose of the aircraft.
Manually clearing Stormscope cell or strike information:
From the 'Lightning' Page, select the
Clear Strikes
Button.
