The traffic system automatically adjusts its TA sensitivity level to reduce the likelihood of
nuisance TA alerting in certain conditions. If a radar altimeter is installed, the system applies
Level A (less) sensitivity when the aircraft is below 2000’ AGL.
If a radar altimeter is not installed, the system applies Level A sensitivity when the
groundspeed is less than 120 knots.

TA Sensitivity Level and TA Alerting Criteria
A 'TRAFFIC' annunciation will appear on the 'Traffic' Page, or as a pop-up alert when a TA is
issued. A TA will be displayed for at least eight seconds, even if the condition(s) that initially
triggered the TA are no longer present.
