Procedure Turn Approach

8. As the CDI needle starts to center, make a rght
turn to 025°—the final approach course.
9. When wthn 45° of the final approach course
and the FAF s the TO waypont, the 400W-
seres unt swtches from termnal mode to
“approach” mode. CDI scalng s tghtened from
1.0 NM full scale deflecton to ether 0.3 naut-
cal mle or 2° full scale deflecton whchever s
less at the FAF. The change occurs over 2 NM
and s completed by the FAF.
10. As you approach the FAF, a waypont alert n
the lower rght corner (“NEXT DTK 025°”)
wll appear. Make any course adjustments
necessary for the final course segment (FAF to
MAP).
11. As you cross the FAF, the destnaton sequences
to the MAP (“RW03”, the runway threshold).
Wth the needle centered, fly toward the MAP,
observng the alttude mnmums dctated by
the approach plate.

of the flight plan always appears in magenta) and a
dashed line extends the course beyond the MAP. The
dashed line is provided for situational awareness only

published missed approach procedures.
