TRIP PLANNING
NOTE:
A data connection (i.e., Wi-Fi or cellular) is required to receive preflight
weather briefings, file, amend, cancel or close flight plans from Garmin Pilot.
The Trip Planning Page manages all of the trip planning details for the active flight
plan. Complete the trip plan by entering pilot information, selecting the file service,
Aircraft, Rules, TAS, Burn Rate, Fuel, Fuel units, ETD and Altitude Some of the data will
be auto-filled based on aircraft performance data from your flyGarmin account. Once
all mandatory fields have been completed, Garmin Pilot creates a trip summary, and
navlog. Since Garmin Pilot is connected to a DUAT account, flight plans can be filed,
canceled or closed with Garmin Pilot.

ROUTE
The route of flight is determined by the active flight plan.
Entering Pilot Information:

Tap the Pilot field.

Enter pilot's Name, Telephone, Street, City, State and Zipcode (if linked to a
flyGarmin account fields may already be populated).
Entering File Service Information:

From any page tap

Enter CSC or DTC credentials and select the preferred provider.
4)
Tap
