Selecting a Base Map:

From any page tap

and select the desired Base Map (i.e., VFR Sectionals, VFR WAC, IFR
Enroute (low), IFR Enroute (high), or Roads & Borders).
Map Panning:

to center the Map Pane over the route of flight

to center the Map Pane over the current location.
