TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Solution
The integrated wireless
sensor does not
communicate with the
main unit
Use a thin utensil, for example a paperclip, to press the
RESET
button
on the bottom of the integrated wireless sensor. Then remove the
batteries and wait for one minute until the solar panel energy is
consumed.
Replace the batteries and re-pair the main unit with the integrated
wireless sensor. The LED on the bottom of the sensor will flash every
16 seconds.
If the LED does not flash, replace the batteries in the integrated
wireless sensor. If the batteries have been replaced recently, check
that they are inserted with the correct polarity.
If the LED flashes but the main unit does not display any measured
data, place the integrated wireless sensor as per the description in the
sub-chapter
The RESET button and LED.
Reset the main unit by
removing the batteries and disconnecting the power adaptor for 10
seconds.
The measured
temperature values are
too high
Make sure that the integrated wireless sensor is not placed close to a
heat source like air-conditioning exhausts, hot building walls, etc.
Perform calibration.
The measured value of
the relative barometric
pressure is different than
the value form the official
local sources
Make sure that the absolute barometric pressure is not displayed
instead of relative.
Perform calibration from a trusted source for your location.
The rain gauge displays
measured precipitation
values even with no rain
Unstable mounting of the integrated wireless sensor can cause sensor
tilt and movement within the rain gauge. Make sure that the sensor is
fastened properly and that its longer part is horizontal using the spirit
level on the top.
The measured data are
not uploaded to
wunderground.com
1. Make sure that you are using the correct password and in the
correct format. Remember that the password must start with a
letter, for example heslo1.
2. Make sure that you have entered the correct name (ID) of your
weather station. The entire name must be in capital letters.
3. Make sure that the main unit displays the current time and date. If
time or date are incorrect it is likely that older data are being
uploaded.
4. Make sure that the correct time zone is set for your location. In the
opposite case, older data will be uploaded.
5. Check the firewall settings of your router. Main unit transmits data
using port 80.
The main unit is not
connected to a wireless
Wi-Fi network
1. Check that the Wi-Fi icon
is displayed. If the connection is
successful, the icon is displayed.
