Example 3.
In another application, in a Telco environment, 12 port Nebs
compliant, -48VDC operated managed switch is required to meet the fiber and
copper connection to store the sensitive datas. The switch must be snmp enabled
and managed to easily manage the whole setup.
Magnum 6K16, managed carrier class switch easily qualifies for this
requirement with all the features and modularity. Loaded with management
MNS-6K, the 6K16 provides a very effective and economical solution for the
carrier-class space environment. Equipped with a rack mount solution to deploy
side-by-side, the carrier-class managed switches also provide the port density in
a rack-mounting space.
The security features e.g port-security, vlan, Snmpv3, secure telnet etc.also
boost the Magnum 6K16 managed switches to provide a very effective ad
reliable solution. The modularity feature to support both copper and fiber at
either 10/100/1000Mb speed easily meet the variation speed of legacy and
future broadband requirement.
In a carrier class (Telco) environment the expected reliable
and secure solution can be met easily by Magnum 6K16s managed switches. He
modular design of Magnum 6K16 provide a wide range of options of
copper/fiber and both configuration to meet heir requirement. The Gigabit
uplink for the storage or broadband uplink allows the telecom users a very
effective solution to store their sensitive users data securely.
