Idle speed adjusting screw

The idle setting of the throttle valve body substantially influences
the vehicle’s starting behavior, a stable idle speed, and the vehicle’s
response when the throttle is opened.
An engine with a correctly set idle speed is easier to start than an engine
with the idle speed set incorrectly.
The idle speed is adjusted using the idle speed adjusting screw

Increase the idle speed by turning the idle speed adjusting screw clock-
wise.
Decrease the idle speed by turning the idle speed adjusting screw coun-
terclockwise.
