1.7 DANGER AND INDICATOR SIGNALS
The signs described are reproduced on the machine (Fig. 4).
keep them clean and replace them if they should come off or
become illegible. Carefully read each description and learn their
meanings by heart.
1.7.1 WARNING SIGNALS
1) Before operating, carefully read the instruction booklet.
2) Before carrying out maintenance, stop the machine and
consult the instruction booklet.
1.7.2 DANGER SIGNALS
3) Danger of getting squashed during opening. Keep at a safe
distance from the machine.
4) High noise level. Use adequate acoustic protection.
5) Danger of falling. Do not get onto the machine.
6) Danger of getting trapped. Keep away from moving parts.
7) Danger of getting hooked by the Cardanshaft. Keep away
from moving parts.
8) Danger of injury to the hands. Keep away from the mowing
parts.
9) Danger of envelopment. Do not remove the guards while the
machine is running (parts in movement).
10)Danger of getting squashed during closure. Keep at a safe
distance from the machine.
11) Risk of inhaling harmful sub- stances. Wear a dust mask.
12)Pipes with high pressure fluids. Take care if flexible pipes
break as oil could spurt. Read the instruction manual.
1.7.3 INDICATOR SIGNALS
13)Wear safety clothing.
14)Coupling point for lifting (indicating the maximun capacity).
15)Greasing point.
