8. With the open lock icon facing to the white marking line on the juicer post,
place the juicer cover onto the juice collector. If required, turn the juicer cover
a little, until the juicer cover settles down on the juice collector without any gap.
Then turn the juicer cover clockwise until it engages into place with a distinctly
audible snapping noise. The closed lock icon at the juicer cover and the white
marking line on top of the juicer post must be levelled up now.
9. Insert the pusher into the feed chute of the juicer cover. Position the containers
for juice and pulp under the juice spout and pulp outlet.
10.
Ensure to open the drip-stop shutter of the juice spout by folding it up to the
open position.
The appliance is now ready for juicing.
NOTE
You should use the provided containers for juice and pulp. However, you may
place any fitting and sufficiently large container (e.g. jugs, drinking glasses, or
mugs) under the juice spout and/or pulp outlet. Keep in mind that splashing could
occur and juices could run down at the exterior of the used containers. However,
due to the extra-wide juice spout, splashing may occur only rarely.
IMPORTANT - Due to vibrations, the appliance could move around on the work
space during operation.
Therefore, keep an eye on the position of the appliance
and the containers for juice and pulp to avoid that juices and pulp run down at
the sides of the containers.
JUICING YOUR FOOD
CAUTION
– Do not operate the appliance while the juicing system is com-
pletely empty. Before starting the motor, fill a few pieces of the prepared food into
the feed chute to avoid damage to the squeezing auger and filter sleeve. Before
filling in food, always ensure that you have mounted the juicing system completely
and correctly (see: ‘Assembling the Juicing System’).
NOTE
For keeping your workspace clean, it is good advice to hold a sufficiently large
tray at hand, where you can lay the parts of the juicing system aside, when ope-
ning the juicing system.
