Tip:
Depending on the desired results, you may use one or both removable pairs
of blades in combination with the fixed pair of blades.
5. Fill your prepared food into the glass container, but do not overfill the glass con-
tainer. Observe the appropriate filling levels: - wet, solid food: MAX filling level
(600 ml / 20 oz. / 2 1/2 cups); - liquids: max. 400 ml; - frothing food: max.
200 ml.
6. Ensure that the lid seal of the lid is correctly in place. Then place the lid onto the glass
container. The handles of the lid must fit onto the handles of the glass container.
7. Place the motor unit onto the lid and turn it slightly until it settles down firmly.
Important:
The appliance will not turn on unless it has been assembled completely
and correctly according to the following instructions.
8. Insert the power plug of the appliance in the wall power outlet.
9. While holding the motor unit slightly down, press the ON/OFF button to switch
ON the appliance.
Note
You can use two speed levels. For using speed 1, only press the ON/OFF button
slightly. When pressing down the ON/OFF button firmly, speed 2 is active. For
selecting an appropriate speed for the desired results, see: ‘Tips for Best Results’.
Important:
The appliance will process your food within a few seconds. Do not let
the motor operate continuously for more than 10 seconds. If required, make inter-
mediate brakes of 10 seconds and/or operate the appliance in pulses.
10. As soon as your food reached the desired consistency, release the ON/OFF
button to stop operation. Then unplug the appliance.
WARNING:
After grinding very dry ingredients (e.g. sugar, cereals), always
wait at least 1 minute before opening the lid. Always keep away any sources of
ignition (e.g. fire, lit cigarettes) to avoid the risk of dust explosion.
11. Take out your food. For this, remove the motor unit and lid. Then grasp the cut-
ting assembly by the upper end of the blade shaft and pull the cutting assembly
out of the glass container. Empty the glass container.
12. Thereafter, if required, you may process the next portion of your food. For this,
simply replace the cutting assembly in the glass container, and start operation
again by beginning with step 3.
