The motor agitates
with unusual noises or
gets hot
AND/OR
the cutting assembly is
rotating too slowly.
The motor has been operating con-
tinuously for too long.
Immediately release the ON/OFF button
to switch off the motor. Ensure to let the
motor operate continuously for no more than
10 seconds. Make a break of at least 15
minutes.
The food in the glass container is
too hard or too tough,
OR
There is too much food in the glass
container.
Immediately release the ON/OFF button and
unplug the appliance. Remove some food
from the glass container. Process your food
in smaller portions. Make a break of at least
15 minutes.
Liquid or foam is
escaping from under
the motor unit.
Too much food in the glass con-
tainer.
Immediately release the ON/OFF button and
unplug the appliance. Observe the maximum
filling amounts (liquids: 400 ml; frothing
food: 200 ml). Clean the motor unit and lea-
ve the motor unit dry for at least 1 day (see:
‘Care and Cleaning’).
Liquid is running out
between the lid and
glass container.
Too much food in the glass con-
tainer.
Take some food out of the glass container.
When processing liquids or very runny ingre-
dients, the maximum amount is 400 ml.
The lid seal is missing or not instal-
led correctly.
Ensure to install the lid seal correctly at the
brim of the lid.
The lid seal or lid is damaged.
Replace the lid seal or lid. Call the Gastroback
Service Center or your vendor.

Always unplug the appliance, before cleaning.
The blades of the
cutting assembly are very sharp!
Always handle the cutting assembly with special
caution to avoid injuries and damage. Do not touch the blades with your fingers.
Ensure that no one will touch the blades unintentionally.
Do not hold your hands
or any foreign objects into the coupling of the motor unit with the appliance still con-
nected to the power supply.
Always ensure that all parts of the appliance are out
of reach of young children.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids (e.g. bleach, solving
agents) for cleaning the appliance or any part of it, to avoid damage to the surfaces.
Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects for cleaning (e.g. scoring pads, knives,
scrapers). Do not place or immerse the motor unit or the power cord in water or any
