5. Connect the power plug to a suitable power wall socket (see Important Safeguards for
Electrical Appliances).

WARNING:

Do not immerse the processing tools too deep to avoid food splashing on the

appliance or dripping in the motor housing or find its way into the tool holes. Always keep
at least 5 cm (ca. 3 finger’s breadth) of free space between the food and the bottom of the
motor housing. Do not touch the processing tools with your hands or any objects (i.e. hair,
tissues, cooking utensils) when the appliance is connected to the power supply.

6. Immerse the processing tools in the food.
It is to be expected, that the food will splash during operation. Prevent the processing tools
from touching the interior walls of the vessel. Always immerse the processing tools in the
food before starting the motor.

WARNING:

When processing hot meals, do not hold the appliance in the rising steam to

avoid condensation on the motor housing. Immediately wipe off condensate on the motor
housing.

7. Hold on to the vessel and switch ON the motor. Slowly move the mixer up and down
during operation.

CAUTION:

Do not block the ventilation slits on the front and back of the appliance and do

not use the appliance in continuous operation for more than 6 minutes to avoid overheating.
If processing large quantities of food, regularly interrupt operation and unplug the applian-
ce for at least 10 minutes, to let the motor cool down.
Prefer working with low speed settings. If required, switch to higher speed settings step by
step to avoid excessive splashing.

8. Blend your food to the desired quality but at least after 6 minutes of continuous operation
switch OFF the motor (speed control position ‘0’) and wait until the motor stops. Then lift the
processing tools out of the food.

9. Always unplug the appliance immediately after operation. Lay down the appliance on a
stable dry and clean surface, where it can not fall.
If required, place the appliance in an upright position on its back cover. In this case, ensu-
re not to knock over the appliance unintentionally.

WARNING:

Always switch OFF the motor, wait until the motor stops completely and

unplug the appliance before assembling or disassembling the processing tools.

10. Clean the appliance after use in accordance to the instructions in chapter Care and
Cleaning. Do not leave any food dry on the surfaces of the appliance.
