V.How to Use NOTE:
1 cup of uncooked rice yields about 2 cups of cooked rice.
1.First, rinse uncooked rice in another container until water runs clear.
2. Before placing anything in the inner pot, read the warnings carefully and observe the following
instructions:
a. Dry the water outside the inner pot, then place the inner pot in the pot.
b. Turn the inner pot to the left and right to make sure the inner pot is positioned correctly over the heating
plate
Add the correct amount of uncooked rice to the pot: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the rice. A
large 25-ounce measuring cup is included with this pot and will hold 4 standard 6-ounce cups of rice. Follow
the lines on the cup for exact measurements.
For example:
1. For 20 cups of rice, add 5 full scoops of uncooked rice to the pot.
2. NOTE: This scoop is 4 times larger than a standard 6-ounce rice cooker scoop.
3. Add the correct amount of water to the pot: Fill the pot with water to the appropriate graduation mark or
follow the rule of 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water (approximate) and adjust as desired.
4.For example: for 20 cups of rice, add water over 20 cups of rice to the 20-cup graduation mark indicated
on the water ruler on the inner pot.
5. NOTE: The amount of water may need to be adjusted for different types of rice. In general, 1 cup of rice
requires 1 cup of water Close tightly and lock the lid.
6. Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
7. Press the cook switch down, you will see the "cook" indicator light come on.
8. After the rice has finished cooking, the unit will automatically switch to heat mode. Wait 15 minutes before
removing the lid to allow the steam to continue cooking the rice.
9. Stir the rice before serving.
10. When finished, turn the switch to OFF and unplug the unit.
