3.3 TEM Session Information (Global Info)
Before acquiring any images, it is recommended to enter the correct
information about the sample, operator, TEM name, etc. Click on the
Global
Info
button (Figure 3-3) to type in all these information. This function can also
be accessed under the Microscope menu. The global information is saved
automatically with every image that is acquired.
3.4 Image Acquisition
To record the final image, click on the
Start Acquire
button in the Camera
Acquire palette shown in Figure 3-4. This mode is preset to acquire a full
resolution CCD image. As explained previously, it is recommended to turn off
the
Auto Exposure
feature for 4kx4k CCD.

3.5 Image Saving and Printing
The recorded images are displayed on the monitor. Pressing on the floppy disk
icon or on the printer icon in the
Saving
palette (Figure 3-5) the image can be
saved or printed respectively. Images can be easily saved in any user specified
directory with a common root name.
