Below is a side view of the solar panel with post attached.
Affix the remaining part of the solar panel post to a fence line, gate post or some other type of
structure capable of supporting the panel.
The solar panel must be positioned in an area that
receives full sun all day without any shadows.
The solar panel should be facing south for optimal
sun. (for northern hemisphere customers).
Use stranded low voltage wire (18 gauge or larger
- up to 200 feet) from the solar panel power con-
nections to the gate opener or battery connections
(review opener manual for correct connection
points)
