Step 8: Setting Up Recording
The G4-304SD1a is a hybrid DVR. It has the capability of having a combination of analog; analog HD
and a single IP camera connected at the same time.
Please Note:
that the cameras, if using a combination of analog and analog HD cameras, must be
used in pairs, e.g. CAM 1 and CAM 2 (Analog) or CAM 3 and CAM 4 (Analog HD). The IP camera is a
separate device and uses its own settings.
This next step is a crucial step, where you will select which cameras to record video from, and also set
up the quality and resolution of the recorded video.
