Use the four screws you removed previously to secure the new power
supply to the case.

Reconnect the power supply cables to the system board and to the drives.

Replace the heat sink, if you removed it to remove the power supply, by
following the instructions in
“Replacing the heat sink” on page 157.

You need a Phillips screwdriver to add or
replace the heat sink.
To replace the heat sink:

Remove the side panel by following the instructions in

Place the computer case on its side.

Disconnect the heat sink fan’s power connector from the system board.

Loosen the four captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system
board. (Two screws on the far side of the heat sink are not visible in the
following photograph.)
