If you are replacing a drive, remove the old drive by sliding it forward
and out of the drive bay.

Set any jumpers on the new drive. See the drive manual for further
instructions.

Slide the new drive into the drive bay until it settles into the indentation,
then lock it into place by sliding the release lever toward the front of
the case.

Replace the shipping screw.

Connect the drive cables according to the instructions in the drive
manual.

Close the case by following the procedure “To open and close the
Gateway Desktop case:” on page 21.
