8. Mechanics Setup
Take the manufacturer’s manual with the assembly sketches and start assembly of your model helicopter according to the
drawings starting on page 6.
Page 6
Upper figure:
For the roll and pitch servo levers (GS-093) to be placed correctly later when the swash plate linkage is adjusted, we
recommend putting the servos into the centre position with the remote control before assembly. The servo levers then have
to be installed horizontally according to the left drawing and applied with the linkage balls (with ball collar). The servo cross
arms that are not needed (drawn in grey) are cut off.
Important!
When installing the upper and lower servo holder, observe the eccentrically applied bores for the servo attachments
crews (see note at the top right in the figure).
When assembling the model, use threadlocker varnish for every metal screw connection.
Lower figure:
To perfectly align the components with each other when installing the top chassis plates, place the main rotor shaft in the
ball bearing as well right away. This ensures that the components are not slanted when screwing them together and that the
rotor shaft is running perfectly smoothly.
Always observe the different screw lengths and include the washers to receive the screw heads.

Upper figure:
Join the front and read chassis top and insert the nod servo (GS-093). The nod servo also has to be placed in the centre
position with the remote control and the servo lever has to be installed horizontally (see drawing on the left).
Important!
For the nod servo, a linkage ball without ball collar is installed.
Lower figure:
Install the motor pinion on the motor shaft and set a distance of 4.5 mm to the motor before screwing on.
The motor attachment screws M3 x 6 must only be tightened so that the motor can still me moved on the carrier at this time.
The motor must be placed on the motor carrier so that the motor connection cables point backwards (also see
bottom figure, page 13).

Upper figure:
Assemble the lower chassis part according to the sketch. In this part of construction, always observe the different screw
lengths and builds.
Lower figure:
During assembly of the top and bottom chassis part, insert the main rotor shaft again, so that the two components are
perfectly aligned and the rotor shaft runs smoothly.
