Initial operation

Charge the batteries at least 8 hours in the first charge.
l
Always make sure the Lock Switch is on lock position during transport and storage.
l
Protect the measuring tool against moisture and direct sun light.
l
Do not subject the measuring tool to extreme temperatures or variations in
temperature. In case of large variations in temperature, allow the measuring tool to
adjust to ambient temperature before putting it into operation.
l
Switch the measuring tool off and make sure the Lock Switch is on lock position during
transport.
Operating modes
1.
Auto Self-levelling Mode
l
To switch on the measuring tool, slide the Lock Switch to
unlock
position.
l
Immediately after switching on, the measuring tool sends out horizontal beam with
automatic levelling range of ±4º. Once the levelling is finished, the laser beams won’t
flash anymore. To change the laser beam, shortly press the mode key until the requested
beams appear, the following sequences are available.
