Use the

hole that will lock
the Load Leg Foot
firmly against
vehicle floor

to extend
install the Base making sure Recline angle is
correct for your child. see page 37.
squeeze the adjustment handle on the load
leg and extend the foot until it rests on the
vehicle floor.
secure the foot into place using the first hole
that will lock it firmly against the vehicle floor
without lifting the Base up off of the seat.
it may be necessary to lift up slightly on the
Base to allow the foot to lock into the hole.
to Retract
squeeze handle and push up on the foot to
retract.
