General safeguards
• Please read the instructions and keep them safe for future
reference.
• When using the machine, always ensure the machine is on a
flat and stable surface.
• Keep out of reach the reach of children at all times.
• Do not tamper in any way with the internal mechanisms of
this machine.
• Do not immerse in liquid.
Setting up
• Unpack carefully and place the C210 on a flat surface, ideally
74cm from the floor. When lifting the machine, lift from the
bottom. Do not carry the machine by the handle.
Edge guide adjustment
• Ensure that the Edge Guide (fig 1) is set to ‘A4’.
Punching the document

Collate the document and insert the edge to be bound into
the punch throat, maximum 20 sheets at a time. Jog the
sheets until they are flush against the edge guide and the
back wall of the punch throat (fig 2, A).

With the paper resting on the punching platform, pull the
punch handle towards you (fig 2, B). Then, return the punch
handle to its original position and remove the paper from
the punch throat.

Repeat this operation until the whole document is punched.

If punching PVC covers, insert no more than two covers at a
time as this material, in large quantities, could cause jams
or excessive wear.
Waste tray
• The waste tray is located under the machine, at the rear.
Empty the tray on a regular basis, to prevent clogging and
possible damage. (fig 8)
Comb and cover storage
• The C210 has built in storage for combs and binding
covers. Keep them stored in the machine so that you do not
waste time looking for suitable supplies with which to bind.
We recommend that you use GBC combs and covers, for
excellent results.
