Follow these steps to change the battery:

1. Press the release tab on back of the

handset.

2. Grasp the battery cartridge, pulling down

and away from the phone.

3. Place the catridge in the recharge cradle.

4. Insert the new battery cartridge.

5. Place the handset in the base to

charge. If you don’t charge the
handset battery properly (for 12
hours) when you first set up the
phone and/or when you install a new
battery pack, the battery’s long-term
performance will be compromised.

Note: You can charge the new battery prior
to installing it by placing the battery in the
back of the base unit.
