2. Use the touch-tone pad to enter your three digit area code.
NOTE:
If you make a mistake, press the delete/erase button on the base or
the chan/delete button on the handset to erase the incorrect area code and
repeat above step.
3. Press flash/program again to store your selection. You will hear a
confirmation tone.

This setting may be made with the base and the handset.
As you become familiar with this system, you may prefer to use the system’s
original settings. Follow these steps to return to the factory settings.
1. Press the flash/program button until

shows on the base unit display or
DEFAULT > NO shows on the handset
display. The default setting is
NO.

2. Use the touch-tone pad to select
1YES or 2NO, or press the cid/
messages (< or >) button on the base or CID/VOL (< or >) button on the
handset to scroll to
YES or NO.
• If you select
YES, all settings in the programmable menu return to the
factory default settings.
• If you select
NO, your programmed settings are retained.
