This product was pre-tested before shipment and date coded. In keeping with the National Electrical Code, this product is intended for residential
seasonal installation and use (90 days max. per year). Nicolas Holiday Ltd
.’s 1-year Limited Guarantee covers repair or replacement (same or
equivalent) of this product within one (1) year from the date of purchase. Troubleshooting tips are on your use and care guide included in this box. If
troubleshooting is unsuccessful, send your product
prepaid along with a legible copy of your sales receipt to St. Nick’s Fix, 246 Spring Hill Road, Unit F,
Trumbull, CT 06611, Attention: Customer Service. Providing the original UPC code will help expedite your request. When mailing the product back to
us, please include your name, return address, contact phone number, and e-mail address. Allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for processing. For more

EXCLUSIONS
This product is guaranteed only if it is used as intended. All accessories that may be packed with this product, such as clips and stakes, are guaranteed
for the first season only. This Limited Guarantee does not cover: 1) commercial applications, 2) burned out bulbs/LEDs, 3) misuse or tampering, 4)
batteries, 5) damage caused by improper consumer handling, or 6) components that may weather, age or discolor due to a chemical reaction when
exposed to UV, oils, heat, acid rain, atmospheric oxygen and some salts.
ANY IMPLIED GUARANTEES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED GUARANTEES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE. OTHERWISE THE REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE, IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS
PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL NICOLAS HOLIDAY LTD. BE LIABLE,
WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE
PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR IN
CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE PRODUCT TO THE FULL EXTENT THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.

IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed including
the following:
a)
READ AND FOLLOW ALL
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
b)
Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and
outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to
a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a
qualified electrician for proper installation.
c)
This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
d)
Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplace, candles or other similar
sources of heat.
e)
Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks
or nails.
f)
Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
g)
Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left
unattended.
h)
This is an electric product-not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and
electric shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
i)
Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
j)
Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
k)
Do not place lighting string on carpeting, drapes, furniture, or allow it to contact vinyl
siding while the power is on.
l)
Do not perform any maintenance or troubleshoot for bad or broken lamps while the
power is on.
m)
Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may
damage the wire insulation.
n)
Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when
in use.
o)
This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.
p)
This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload
or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also
unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product.
Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for
proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-
circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.

Use and Care Instructions
a)
When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and
fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily.
Keep the tree holder filled with water.
b)
If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and stable.
c)
Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut,
damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures,
loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
d)
When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever
it is placed, including tree branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue
strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.
e) When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
User Servicing Instructions
Fuse replacement:
Most often, fuses blow because too many sets have been strung end-to-end.
a) Before changing fuses, make sure the set is unplugged.
b) Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other.

c) Using a flathead screwdriver, open fuse cover. Slide open
the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
d) Removes fuses carefully.
e) Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided
with product).
f) Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of current tap.
Make sure door is fully closed and fuses are completely covered.
g)
Risk of fire. Do not replace current tap. Contains a safety device (fuse)
that should not be removed. Discard product if the current tap is damaged.
Bulb replacement:
Before changing bulbs, make sure set is unplugged.

If the spare bulbs provided with the product have no plastic base or
the plastic base does not fit, first follow steps 1

Remove the old bulb by straightening the bulb wires and

Replace the new bulb by straightening the bulb leads and
aiming each wire into a separate hole in the plastic base.
c)
Make sure each bulb lead comes out an exit opening at the bottom of the plastic
base.Now bend each lead up such that each bulb lead fits closely againts the narrow
side of the plastic base.
1. This lighting string is rated 20.4 Watts (0.17 Amps), do not
overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits end-to-
end up to a maximum of 216 Watts (1.8 Amps) total. If connecting
to a lighting string that does not have a Wattage (W) rating {found on the tag within 6
inches of the plug} calculate the wattage as follows
: Multiply the current (0.17A) which
is on the flag-type tag by 120.For example: Lighting string is rated 120 V, 60 Hz,
0.17 Amps. 0.17 X 120 = 20.4 Watts
Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 216 Watts or less. (Do
not exceed 216 Watts.)
2. To reduce the risk of over heating, replace burned-out lamps promptly. Use 2.5 Volt,
0.425 Watt lamps only.
3. To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock: a) Do not install on trees having needles,
leaves or branch coverings of metal or materials which look like metal, and b) Do not
mount or support strings in a manner that can cut or damage wire insulation.
