again.

• Do not use steel wool, scouring pads or abrasive cleansers on any part of the unit. Never use sharp or pointed

objects for cleaning purposes.

• Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing. The unit can be stored upright to save space.

CARE AND CLEANING

• Most waffle recipes can be poured directly onto the nonstick cooking grids

(3)

. Use a cooking spray for dessert

waffles or any recipe with a lot of sugar. If your waffles start to stick, the grids

(3)

may need to be scrubbed with

a nylon brush to remove any cooked-on food particles.

•  Waffles can be made ahead of time and kept warm in a 200ºF (90ºC) oven.
•  To store waffles, let cool and then pack in an airtight container. Store in refrigerator or freezer. Waffles can be

reheated in a microwave oven, a toaster oven, or regular oven.

•  Most waffles are done in about 3 to 6 minutes. Recipes made from scratch may take longer. Check for doneness after

approximately 5 minutes or when the steaming stops. If the lid

(2)

doesn’t lift easily, let waffles cook a minute more

before checking again.
