RECIPES

Note: The recipes have been calculated to fit one ceramic insert. If you require to cook 
a larger amount of food, you may double or triple the recipe, and use more than one 
crock at a time for any of these recipes.

Homemade Country Stew

pound stew meat, cut into ¾ inch pieces

large baking potato, cubed

½ 

thinly sliced carrot

½ 

cup frozen peas, thawed

medium onions, thinly sliced

10 - 12 oz can tomato soup

bay leaf

Layer meat, potato, carrot, peas, and onions in ceramic insert. Combine soup and the 
remaining ingredients. Pour over layered ingredients. Cover and cook on high 4½ to 5 
hours or until meat and vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf.

Spicy Pork

½ 

boneless pork loin roast, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces

(14½ oz.) cans whole tomatoes, drained and chopped

tablespoon tomato paste

tablespoon apple cider vinegar
