Flow kit description
Introduction
NOTICE
Only use flow kits supplied by GE Healthcare.
ÄKTA ready XL is used with specific flow kits that include all the necessary tubing,
from inlet to outlet, including flow cell, air trap, column connection tubing, and pump
heads. ÄKTA ready XL can be operated in isocratic or in gradient mode. A flow kit and
a supplementary gradient section are available for use with the system.
This section describes the flow kits, their mode of operation, and durability.
Flow kit description
The (isocratic) flow kit and the gradient section are available with ¾ inch or 1 inch in-
ner diameter tubing. The diameter determines the maximum flow rate. For more in-
